Birthday Haul

Hello Ladies and Hello 28! Last Thursday was my birthday.There was no big party or fancy dinner,it was just me and Damian doing what we normally do. We went to the mall,we watched a movie and had chipotle after. But he made sure I was happy and kept me laughing all day. There was nothing I really wanted to do besides chill and spend quality time with him. And Zoe said Happy Birthday (as best she could) so that made me extra happy! Here are a few of the things I got from Damian:

My all time favorite perfume. There are so many out there that I want,but this baby right here always wins me over. I get lots of compliments when I wear it too.

I wear studs 98% of the time so these are definitely something I have never worn,but I think it's about time I try something different.

Hello April.

Hi Ladies! How was your Easter? Can you believe it's April already?! Time is going by so fast. My birthday is in two days and I'm pretty excited...mostly because I can get away with anything.lol. Anywho...I thought I'd share a few pictures with you girls.

My Spring Colors

Hey Ladies! Today is the first day of Spring! One thing I love most about Spring (besides Easter) are the colors! I am not too fond of wearing dark lipsticks and eyeshadows so now that the weather calls for lighter colors I decided to go through my lipsticks and glosses to choose which ones I will be wearing. I also went through my polishes because we all know how much I love them!

Review

This will be my very first real review,so please bear with me =) What it is: the Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream. 
                                             

It claims to :

Lock-in Moisture for 24 hours

Block out dryness

I picked this up on a whim. I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from this. The first time I tried this I had just gotten out of the shower and my skin was feeling dry and tight (I have dry/sensitive skin) and when I applied this,it had a cooling effect on my skin,which I LOVED. But sadly,that's the only good thing that came out of this. After I applied it my hands felt tight and sticky and I still noticed dry patches on my face,especially around my nose. It seemed as though it didn't absorb into my skin,no matter how much I rubbed it into it. Weirdly,it reminds me a little of a peel-off mask. It sorta just settled into the fine lines on my face and the tightness didn't go away. I kept using this because I wanted to make sure it wasn't for me. And it's not. I think someone with normal skin would like this. I need LOTS of moisture for my dry skin.

A few new things.

 I haven't really been in the mood to buy makeup (shocking) but here are a few things I picked up recently.

 

I Love Baby Lips lip balms lol

I picked this out on a whim...I will post a review in a few weeks.

While shopping for chonies (underwear) my bf kept saying how good it smelled in VS so I told him to try to find what it was and get it. This was the closest thing to whatever it was and I gotta say,it smells very nice. I love sweet,floral scents and this is just right. The only thing I don't like is I really can't smell it after a while and believe me,I spray it on like I haven't showered in days.lol. 

Every time I use this I think of what my bf said inside VS about another fragrance: " Is this what strippers use?" and I said, "Well,I know your Mom wears it." I think I may have scarred him for life. lol.
